not sure if you found it yet, but the stock amp is in the trunk, right up against the back seat on the passenger side..you can get a amp bypass kit for it, I got one and it works great.real nice vic by the way...

My old vic did the exact same thing. But at the same time, my check engine light was always on. It turned out my egr, air pump check valve, throttle position sensor, coolant temp. sensor, and throttle air bypass solenoid all went out at the same time. After i replaced those, it ran fine. However, my friend has a 91 cv that did the same thing yesterday and i turned up the idle screw a little bit and it stopped stalling.
