R.I.P To the King of New York!!!
March 9, 1997
Just wanted to introduce myself. You can call me Dre Linn. Im the proud owner of a Acura Legend!! Always liked the ship but just couldn't afford it. Strange how it happened. Wanna here??
I was in Heidelberg Germany taking my 1989 BMW 525i to the local "radio" shop when this guy had a Black 1991 Acura Legend in the shop fixing it up for his wife for her birthday. They bought the car brand new (its 2003 when we met). So we was talking about it when he asked me where could he get it painted at. I knew of a good spot so I gave him directions and that was it. I saw him 2 months later and he thanked me and told me the guy did a good job. Well, fast forward to dec 2003. I was on my way PCS'ing (moving in military terms) to georgia. Seeing how my BMW was German Specs, I couldn't bring it back I had to sell it. I was in contact with a guy who wanted to sell a Acura 3.2 for $9800 in Jacksonville and i was gonna buy it when i got to GA. Well, I was in the Shoppette (corner store) and guess who I bumped into. The guy with the Acura in the radio shop. We talked and he told me that he was buying his wife a BMW X5 and he was getting the 2004 BMW 525. He then told me that he was having a hard time selling his wife's Acura. I asked him how much and he told me $2000. I had him take me to the bank and I withdrew the money and gave it to him. I was leaving Germany in two days and didn't have time to do the paperwork so he took me to the legal office and i gave him power of attorney to ship it to me here. She arrived in Atlanta Georgia on 9 Feb 04. And I havent been in nothing but AHHHHH since. I actually had 3 offers for the car and one of them was for $7000. I declined. I love it.
Check out the pics and let me know what you think or any ideas you may have.
