This is a good day for a quattro. There are always more to come. I just bought this car from some guy in New York. Along with 133,000 miles. It needed a lot of mechanical work as all Audi's will. Fortunately the electronics are in great working order. It has good working power heated seats,(which are freshly reapolstered) and it did come with the Audi phone(which I keep in there for a novelty).

The stock stereo is crystal clear, and it won't break my neigbors windows when I drive by. The bass could use some improvements, but. It has a stock disk changer. A plus if you like the stock system and you don't want to change it. I was thinking it might be possible to integrate a sub into the stock system some how. We will see.

I put some different wheels on it. The stock ones make the car look plain and small. And luckely they are still pretty good in the snow. Along the way a brand new set of Bilstein struts were added to my mechanic's work order. And soon a set of H&R sport springs will find themselves also helping out with my evasive menouvers to avoid rear-ending those speed, and class impaired Japanese cars. Hopefully in time for summer. (yes that is a 1990 200 turbo quattro!)

A pretty clean engine compartment caught my eye when I was considering this indevor. Even though this car is a bit under powered by today's sport sedan mainstream. It has one of the smoothest shifting automatic transmissions I have ever taken the time to drive. Which if you're familiar with pretty much eliminates completely the cast and roll effect. Making for certain that you get a good glimpse of the other driver's facial expression as you pass him.
I'll add pictures and commentary when more news breaks.
