For my Winter System I've decided to stick the the Profile amp, and am goin to get a 13kv.2 My box will be 1.0 ft^3 after displacement, check back for pics of the new box/sub!!!!
My SBS-1041BP arrived via UPS two weeks ago, along with my Profile CA400M, and Scosche EFX 8 Gauge wiring kit. I plan on installing these components by mid-August. Please check back later for great pix of my Saturn.
This is my Pioneer DEH-1500. A pretty exceptional head-unit considering the price I paid for it. Some useful features, and gets the job done fine. 2 volt pre-amp out puts send pretty good signal to my amp.
Alpine Type-S 10" woofer in Bandpass enclosure.200 watt mono Profile CA400M. This setup is pretty awesome. It is enough to rattle just about everything and hit pretty low and loud. Frequency response dips into the 30-40 hz range, and is enough to break your voice while talking. The $100 amp does a very good job, only gets moderately warm only when 80+ degrees outside. I made a little amp rack for it during the summer, and carpeted it. I recently beat a kid w/ 2 Jl Audio w0s, 10"s w/ a 600 watt amp. He had the subs right behind his seats. Nonetheless, he was suprised that my $300 dollar system beat his.
