1990 Suzuki Samurai with first wave of mods...many more are on the way
First thing was to change that red grille out for one a little more stylish.
I pulled the stock grille and painted it black. While it was off I installed a new SJ410 grille kit from Roadless gear.
Next thing was to cut my door hinges and add my new straps from Roadless gear.
You can also see my doorless mirror brackets from Roadless gear in the right pic. I am testing the new Polypropylene brackets.
These are the other door hinges cut...
Here is a shot showing both driver's side door hinges and the mirror bracket.
Here are some pics of my hood straps that I installed to allow quick and easy access to the engine compartment.
Last of all...here are some shots of my Samurai with the doors off and the Bikini top on. This is 4.5.04.
I just added my windshield fold down kit and it looks great!!! Can't wait to get my cage installed so that I can run the trails without my windshield.

Here is an up close shot of the brackets that are added to make the windshield fold down.
My first engine modifications were a larger alternator and an optima yellow top battery. I may wait on anything else, because I am looking into a 1.6 or 2.0 engine swap later.
Before going on my first trail ride with my Samurai, I bought some smaller tires, to clear the fender wells and for more aggressive tread, and a brush guard from a fellow Zuker.

Here is a closeup of my new Timberline A/Ts.
Here is some pictures of my new silver pinstripes. The first set with the doors on and the second with them removed.

Some other quick and easy mods on the way are some stickers, a Tuffy overhead security console, and some wiper braces. See below for some pics of this stuff.
Tuffy overhead console
Sticker for back of vehicle
Set of stickers for both sides (top) and bumpers (bottom)
