This is my 510 Wagon. I bought it in February of 2004 and ran really well for a while then it blew a head gasket. So I decided to replace the L16 with an L18 bolted to a 280zx 5 speed. This project is still in the making. I just need a shortened drive line to fit between the longer 5-speed and the rearend. I also have an FX16 GT-S car for sale. Sign my page if you are interested.

I have most of the parts to get this going. I just have to get the time to do everything plus it's sitting at my cousins house which is a good 15-20 minutes away.

This is after my cousin Lance and I pulled the L16 out and the 4-speed remained we had planned on just replacing the blown head gasket and doing some other minor things to the L16 motor. Then I came across an L18 with a 5-speed for a price I could not pass up.

This is the L18 with 5-speed. My boy Clayton and I installed it a couple weeks ago. I just installed the header, intake and the weber downdraft. All thats left is the drive shaft and the wirng. The drive shaft should be done by thursday 08/26/2004 by Troy Ermish.

Finally I have the time to update the wagon project and have decided to sell it. The car is running and has been very reliable as my daily driver. Here is the wagon as it stands today. I changed the stock wheels to a 280ZX type. The front suspension has been changed to Koni Adjustables and cut Suspension Technique springs. I changed out the lower ball joints to new ones. The front is actually about 1"1/2 lower than what the picture shows.

The engine is now finished and runs great some of the mods are a downdraft weber, msd coil, el dizzy, 3 core radiator, datsun comp spark plug wires, top end performance header, poly bushings for the leaf springs, 280zx 5-speed and thats all I can think of right now...

Is your ride still for sale? I've picked up a Serious Charrity case 2-door, and I need to find just about every peice that can be acquired. A wagon would be the perfect parts-mobile to resurrect my poor little shell of what used to be a car.
