The Legend Lives On! I purchased this car on December 26, 1990. Funny thing though, I really wanted the Lexus SC400 at the time but the waiting list was just too long. At the time Acura was running an ad "If you drive it, you'll buy it!". I never knew how true that statement was until I test drove it. Two hours later, I was in my new ride on my way back to work. Acura did a superb job with the Legend design and reliability. I've had this car for over 18 years. Did a JDM engine swap at 267K miles and other than normal maintenance, have not had any problems with the car. In 2000, I became a Bimmer Man (TITANIUMSEEKER) but I still love the Legend. Over the years, SLEEPNL has gone through some performance and cosmetic changes. The stock wheels went from 15's to 17's and now 18's. My wheel choices have always been difficult because I like to be different. So if I happen to see my wheel on a similar vehicle, you can bet that I will be changing it. Here's a look at the painted calipers, with AXXIS pads and Brembo X-drilled rotors. The brake lines are SS braided and I use Super Blue Brake fluid... Gotta Stop if you go fast!
