The needles are from an extra cluster I had laying around. In short, I took the needles from a silverfaced cluster and put them into a blackfaced cluster. Or you could just buy a Mk3.5 (99.5-02) Cabrio cluster and they look the same yet light up blue. They're pretty expensive though, so this is a good alternative imo.

Hey! So Yeah.. I was on the vortex, saw your link.. Clicked it.. And I saw you have RED! needles on your gauges. Where or How did you aquire those!? I'm putting in Autometer gauges, and I'd like for them to match my cluster, So yeah.. I need red needles like them.

The previous owner changed the speakers, so I don't know how it originally sounded. But from other people's cars, the stock system sounds pretty decent.

hey dude... just curious? when u had ALL the stock speakers working.. the two in the dash, the four in the doors, the rear tweaters, and the ones in the back deck... was it a pretty good sound system?
