Ok, I'll devot this page to my stereo system of past and present
Ok, this is the setup I hit 147.6 with a the sound comp. Except I was using the Memphis 500 D.
Ok, after sitting down with the guys at Mobile FX in Rapid City, we hammered out a system. We nixed the 2 fiberglass boxes an account of funds and space problem. So we decided on this.
7 Jun 05 A custom vented box for 4 12" Memphis M-Class subs. There will be a temporary amp rack built for my Memphis 500 D till I have more funds to get a different amp. Then a better amp rack will be built to hold it.
The roof was also dynamated. And a remote start/alarm was installed. The vent cover will hopefully have MEMPHIS painted across it. The design is being made up as I type this. The box was going to be vinlyed... but after a comparison in the truck, it was decided the carpet matched better.
The only thing it's waiting on right now is the subs. Those should come in the next couple of days. Then the final wiring and amp rack will be built.

Okay, finally got around to the pictures.
4 Memphis M-Class 12"s. In a custom vented box. 3 layers of dynamat on the roof just to keep it from flexing and rattling.
Here's a shot showing how much can be seen.
To give you guys an idea on how big this thing was, they had to remove my seats to get it in. Here's a comparison shot sitting next to my Maxima (stock height)
Part of the deal was advertising. I don't mind for the good guys down at Mobile FX. I do need a new sticker though. It was just put on 10 mins before it started raining. That plus driving 65 down the interstate didn't help it.
Now, I wouldn't get all this done and advertise without a way to protect it.
