Unfortunately, this car had a fatal meeting with a city garbage truck............not my fault but the car got written off. This will still be up so everyone can see the hard work and time that went into her, she was 10 years of my life, and will never be forgotten............................Thanks to everyone and their help

She has come a long way since I first bought her. I first found her on the front lawn of chevy guys house were he was tossing his garbage out his front door onto her. He took it out in the rain and scared the heck out of him self, and didn't touch it until he got his nerve back. It was a few months until he got to her, and since she sat she developed a charging problem that he could not fix.

I told him that I would buy only under the stipulation that I heard her run, so we charged the battery while I cleaned off the engine bay (the hood was up while he was throwing garbage on it). She started first crank, so I bought her!I paid $2000 Canadian for her, the guy was excited to get the money because he had chevy 2 that he was trying to get on the road. It took my brother a few minuates to discover that it was a burnt wire above the rad that hooked to the alternator. I then took the car down to my buddy Jay's shop to show him my new pride and joy (even though it was all oxidized, and almost a purple black colour). We spent about 2 hours with some rejuvanation polish and the car turned a black colour (which was cool). When we pulled it out of the shop it turned a wild red colour, blackcherry! It was still a rusty car but it was clean ( even after hours of cleaning the interior because the guy used her for storing parts for his other cars, and dumped about 50 ash trays in it).

I then took it back to the guy to show him what I had for $2000 dollars and he was pissed. I had a great car and his chevy 2 was still on blocks, I guess he should have taken better care of her. That was 7 years ago now she has a great paint job (blackcherry)and was totally stripped down. New floor on the drivers side, new back 1/4s added and a new hatch. Slowly I have replaced the small parts like emblems and fog lights , the head lights are next. She taught me all I know in mechanics and helped me through my apprenticeship, buy giving me a motor to rebuild, a tranny and a rear end. Next is the interior, and more engine upgrades. I have a stormin normin hood that has to get painted to match soon. I finally got my pictures from the paint job I did scanned so here goes.

This her from before the paint job, this one was just a cheap job to last to this point, as you could see it didn't.
