Hi,
CAR IS DONE :-)
This is my 1976 Trans Am,I´m rebuilding the car to a limited street mostly strip car,it has a 6pt rollcage and subframe connectors, it has a 1978 front end that was installed many years ago when the car was wrecked.
It has a 9" housing with moser axles and moser aluminum center, ladder link suspension,MSD digital 6plus ign.box,
454chevy with a lunati 722lift cam, dart pro1´s,steel crank,eagle h beam rods,Wiseco 12.7-1 pistons etc.
Turbo Action TH-400 with hipsters brake,Neal Chance two piece converter.
Here is a new picture, ain't she sweet

Fuel system is from Aeromotive.

This is an old picture of my baby,I guess 1985 or so.

This picture is from about 1978 the oldest one I have of the car.

I stripped the car completly, and cut the rusted floor pans etc. out, everything was rebuilt with help from good friends.I scraped about 70lbs of crap from the bottom of the car with a gasket scraper and a fantastic electric tool called MBX,there is nothing that comes close to the MBX.

If you are going to restore a car, start by building or renting a car stand that you can roll the car in.And get lots of boxes for the bolts and stuff and label each box left fender etc.You think you´ll remember where everything goes.....you won´t,,, trust me;-)

My hero :-) Jens did most of the welding and also crafted this frame patch from scratch,he´s a god damn genius. He also helped me build the rollcage.

Back from the paintshop, bottom and inside painted black after sealing everything with bodysealant.

Fuel sump

Home made Back brace

Mono leaf and floaters installed for the ladder link susp. The floaters required some modifications.
