The day we bought the mustang - an ugly little yellow work in progress... my son (Jacob) and I decided this will be his first car

After playing with the engine and dressing it up a little we decided it was in need of more drastic 'fixing'.

So yesterday, FE 18, 2004, we took out the engine....

I have added a few safety items, which include an aluminum panel between the backseat and the trunk (aka the gas tank - which makes up the trunk floor - what were the engineers thinking!), and front disc power brakes. The floorboards have been tiled with soundeadener panels, and the subs (which I overrode safety and put into the aluminum panel) will be surrounded with neoprene foam. Right now I have 2 10" subs, 2 6x9 Sony 3 ways, 2 MA Audio 6/12" Mid/woofers in front kick panels with a crossover running two tweeters (not yet mounted - but going into the dash or pillars) all connected with a 4x200 Jensen amp in back, and a BOSS Klash 2x350 amp in front. The head unit is a SONY Explode with MP3 player and XM optional.

Well, here it is, Mar 13, the engine has been cleaned and painted, still have to add the headers, a new flexplate and replace the blockplate (wrong one was installed) with the correct one. Will have pics of the engine compartment soon - with engince back in!. Thanks for looking!
