I bought this 1989 Toyota Celica from a guy who used to build and race Indy and Trans AM cars. I thought of it as a great way to start my way into the rice burning world and bought it for 400 bucks. The car is currently on its way down from Connecticut and I start work on it as soon as it gets here. Now what I need from ya'll is any possible ideas or suggestions on where or what to do with it. I was going to start with performance which I have some ideas in mind, but as for ground effects and looks, I've searched high and low and the only think I can think up is having the kit custom built. If anyone can give me suggestions or "know-hows" to help me on my way, let me know! I'd appreciate any and all help, Thanks guys!

Well, i guess its alright. it looks like a ST. not the sharpest knife but i guess if you like it. is it your first car? well, Come check out my 86 Celica gt-s and tell me what you think, its my first car too but let me tell you, ive had mine almost 3 years. i havent done really anything to my car cuz hey dont have anything for these cars. i mean, they have pacesetter headers for the GT but thats it. i was gonna get me some custom built headers for $200 but im deciding to sell my car here soon. These cars are alright i guess, but they fall apart, break, dont run right and all the other shit that would happen to an older car but these things just have problems. go the www.toyotacelicaonline.com and go to body kits and 4th gen and you will find some body kits. the only ones they really have are the Kiminari and the Aeroform which arent bad i suppose. dont ever put nitrous on your car if you want some power cuz they dont make shit for this car cuz nitrous will just fuck it up more. that was gonna be my solution for speed cuz they have nothing else for my car. You could do a motor swap to the 3-sgte turbo motor. you can get one of them for about $2000 but then you would have to find a tranny that would work, ive been told that a older camry V6 tranny will work but i dont know what year or anything else. Well, if you have any Questions i will help as much as possible or will try and point you to the right direction. Later, Jon
