Here are some more shots of the truck's engine. I had the engine half way in when the pulleys on the balancer would not clear the radiator support, so they came off. Then it went in farther, and the passenger's header had to come off, then I had to lift it again to trim an ear on the mount. Oh well, the learning curve was worth the result!

Next is a shot showing the traction bars I modified, I had universal Lakewood slapperbars that hit the leaf spring 4" from the eye, and I still wasn't transfering weight. I added 4" to the end of them, and reworked the mounts to tuck them closer to the spring. I then shimmed my pinion angle to 4* down. It made a world of difference, with the used 28X9 M/T ET drags on Camaro rims I went from 2.30 60' times to 2.19. Now I bog the engine bad! Too little converter.
