The First 2007 Update! February 27, 2007
I want to say thanks to those who have stopped by and read my page and voted. Many thanks to those who have also left comments! Since the last update in October, I've started the Winter buying and have decided to continue "lightly" modding the car now (leaving the BIG stuff- head work and tranny work- for later). I've bought a Perrin Fuel Rail from Ben @ Horsepowerfreaks, a 7000k HID kit from Xenon Shop, an AEM TruBoost gauge, the Clunk Fix from Auto X Racing, and some other items. The AEM was sent right to AEM to have its firmware updated and I probably won't see it for a week or two. I've decided to get rid of my Megan Racing Short Shifter and install the OEM Mazdaspeed Shifter.

More coming soon!

She's Alive... March 18, 2007
Well, yesterday the MP3 was cranked up for the first time in months. She started right up! But then stalled out. Hey, its to be expected. Warmed her up, moved her out of the storage space and into the garage. Next up- to install the Perrin Fuel Rail, and to make an appearance in a month at the GVSU Car Show in Allendale, MI! I'll give her a nice wash and wax first, have lots of dust to remove. I'm thinking about getting the hood wet sanded as it has started to bubble a bit and lose its hot look. Its lasted me 4 years so far, so I'll get it re-finished in hopes of it lasting a few more years! The jack I got for Christmas definitely helped me move the whole rear end out of storage (it was parked horizontally in a vertical style garage!) As you can see via the AEM wideband, she's running rich as HELL! (11.X:1) That'll need some adjusting, eh??

Hot Import Nights, Chicago, IL- March 31, 2007!!
Preparation before leaving for Chicago (it was like 45 degrees out and I was BAREFOOT! I was FREEZING!)

After I arrived in Chicago with Sarah it was time to clean... like you can't imagine... luckily we stayed at the hotel connected to the McCormick place so that was nice!

Done for the evening! Time to head to Downtown!

It was a damn good time in the Windy City. Left Sunday night at about 1am Chicago time and got home about 5am. It was a LONG NIGHT!
