Quick update as of March 26, 2006!
The car is back at my house getting ready for spring. I have a few things yet to do before I call insurance and get it covered again, but I am really looking forward to it!
Some things that have changed are my pillar gauges are now more securely fastened with an autometer pod, and I also purchased a Megan Racing Short Shifter with the stock 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege Shift knob. I hope to have that installed fairly soon. I also upgraded my wideband oxygen sensor to the new AEM 6-in-1 style from my older style so I now have a white faced gauge instead of a black faced. Also, the tranny is getting broken in again, since you all know that it broke last fall, but its leaking a bit of tranny fluid from the reverse gear indicator sensor.
Also another problem arose when I suddenly thought to check if the idiots at an Arizona dealer actually sold me a 3 bar MAP sensor. I was looking at part numbers and realized they sold me a 2 BAR map sensor, so my Haltech E6X was running funky. I have since purchased a 3 bar MAP sensor, but I have to completely re-tune the fuel maps. I also am thinking about buying larger injectors and a better fuel pump in the near future!
Quick update as of April 1, 2006!
I spent all day this past Thursday finishing up installing my Megan Racing Short Shifter (with the 03.5 Mazdaspeed Knob) and everything went well. I spent Friday washing and detailing the car (everything except wax-- it needs wax!!) and so I snapped a few pictures after I finished cleaning! Enjoy!
Beautiful day in Michigan for spring cleaning!

Quick update as of April 26, 2006!
The MP3 now has full coverage insurance on it again for the summer, and all upgrades and installs are complete. The car has been on the road for about 4 days, but lately, I've let it sit in the garage. I completed a Mobil1 Oil Change last Thursday and filled it up, for the most I've ever paid for premium gas- $3.03/gallon. The GVSU car show was a big sucess. I leave for Ohio in one week, so the car will be coming with me for the entire summer! Bigger 550cc or 750cc injectors will be coming soon, as well as a Perrin fuel rail. Stay tuned!

Damnit! The resonator on my Corksport Power Series Exhaust broke! This problem is known, and the guys at Corksport really helped out and fixed the problem!!
Summer 2006 Update, June 20, 2006
Car is running decent, added some more timing under boost due to the car running a little poorly (throttle response lagged). After I threw in some more timing to the Haltech E6X while in VAC, the car felt much better. I still need to add some more timing under boost due to the appearance of annoying unburned fuel on my bumper. I waxed the MP3 twice in the last two days, so she is feelin' nice and clean. Got some new Bridgestone RE750's in the back in place of the old worn Dunlop FM901's, so that's nice. Took a few pics after I buffed the second round of wax off:
Here are some pics from camping at the beach this weekend:

It seems after a few hard runs that my fuel pump is finally on its way out. Having no job at the moment, and the AFRs not the best, I am letting the car sit until I get money enough to get a Walbro 255lph fuel pump. Hopefully thats 100% the problem. Hope to be back on the streets in August.

I have finally decided that my fuel system will now be upgraded to the extreme! I have a few modifications including a new Walbro GSS342 High Performance 255lph pump and RC Engineering 750cc High Impedance Injectors! The injectors will hopefully be here about mid-week, and I might just start re-tuning my Haltech this weekend after I've installed all the stuff! I'll then be boosting about 20-22psi daily! Hopefully I can get about 325-350whp out of it!

Got the Walbro pump installed and drove the car home... after I jumped my car from sitting too long :p. The next day the injectors showed up from RC Engineering... I put the 750ccs in, and the car started right up! I will be re-tuning the entire fuel map, then upping the boost. Here we go!

I am now boosting over 20psi daily. The Haltech is being tuned most the time I drive, and it is now completely drivable. I have some tuning yet to do in boost, but am pretty happy. At 20psi and WOT, my injectors IDC is only around 70-73! Awesome.
Some pics of the injector install, also my family's MSP and Mazda6.
