**Monthly Update**
So I worked on trying to adjust the carb since it has been running too rich, and after adjusting it, cleaning the plugs (breaking the ceramic on one so I had to go to the store just for 1 plug), and setting the timing for the first time in 87,000 miles, I realize that the carb will probably need an entire rebuild. I think the float is broken =(
*Odometer* just rolled over 87,000 miles!
=================================================================================
I am 24 years old. I have a 1968 Cheverolet Camaro with a 1969 327 that's running about 375 hp.
A few things about the car that I know of, since i don't even pretend to know everything about cars.
-Edelbrock 625 carburetor
-Turbomax exhaust
-700-R 4 speed automatic transmission(with a shift kit I think)
-B&M bump shifter
-steel 2" cowl induction hood
*Removed tenzo seats and put stock ones back in so the pictures are up to date of the interior*
-Tenzo R racing seats
-12 bolt rearend with posi-traction w/3.52 gears
-ceramic coated headers(dont know make)
-Brand new aluminum radiator (only $160!!)
-Colorado Customs steering wheel with full leather blue wrap(Hancock design)=a little pricey for a daily driver
-fully redone upholstery
-fully Functional Vintage Air A/C and Heater
-power steering (just put in new steering box)
-power brakes
-16 inch aluminum racing weld wheels(I'd like some wider ones in the front so if anyone is willing to trade or make a deal on some wheels I'm all game for a deal, preferrably Torq Thrust II)
-tinted windows
-custom pedals
-JVC Kameleon head unit
-2 Polk Audio 6X9's that actually sound really good thanks to the sound bouncing off the back glass
I must admit that I did not do most of the work myself. I had a mechanic do the work. It took him 2 years and about the same amount I payed for the car itself for him to get it in shape. But it looks the exact same on the outside. If you look closely you might notice that there is NO trailer. The car IS daily driven. Don't get a nice car and trailer it. It defeats the purpose of having a nice car. It has over 17,000 miles a year, because it is my only car. I have been invited to be in the World of Wheels car show but I didn't not have the time to clean it up properly. The car also has some minor things that I would like to fix before entering a show.
If you are bold and daring enough, feel free to talk to email me at kohlman03@yahoo.com. I appreciate feedback.
This is my first webpage so hang in there with me and be happy to tell me if you see something I should change.

This is a pic of my car at the new house after it was out of the shop...2 years later, not much of a change on the outside.

Sexy Rear.

These are some pictures of the 1969 327 engine that is in it. Sorry for the fuzzy pics...I wasn't quite on my photography game that day.
I have a round filter and cover now. Still K&N tho.
And what is a decent car without a decent interior? Embroidered Camaro in the seats and door panels.

I will say that the radio in the car when I got it was a piece, the previous owner had cut the radio itself to make it fit in the slot. I decided to buy another one that would play CD's and look decent...only when it was turned on. So I decided on this Kameleon from JVC. It retails somewhere in the $300's but I got mine off of ebay for $168. It hides away and looks like a flat black panel when it is not turned on. Once its turned on, it looks pretty nice, even in an old car.

Sign the guestbook and rate my ride and on top of that, if it wouldnt be too much trouble, could ya take the poll?
This is my old man's ride when the weather permits. He has had it for over 20 years and always tells me that he has had it forever and how my car will come together in good time. Patience. It is a 1956 Cheverolet Nomad Bel Air. They made only 3000 of them per year for a total of 3 years. It is a bad pic of it, but it is maroon and beige. Interior is the same. it has a 383 V8. It has placed a few shows around the area and invited to be in the World of Wheels twice.
