**Monthly Update**

Replaced my old radiator last week. It was an old 4 core radiator from the late 60's. I was on my way to defensive driving class (for a speeding ticket) and I noticed my temp was around 250. For old cars, 250 is simply unacceptable and is definately in danger zone. So I pull into the next stop (a McDonalds) and pop the hood. Sure enough, my untrusty radiator was spraying lubricant all over my a/c unit. I keep a trusty bottle of coolant in my trunk for such an occasion and fill her up and dont drive her till Monday and I take her to the shop. He says the radiator is pretty much shot with more than one leak and bad seals. I order a brand spankin new aluminum radiator for $169.99 with $19.99 shipping and handling. It arrives in 3 days! I get it put in for $119 and a brand new radiator installed for around $300!! Life is good, but now I have a leak on the hose going to the top of the radiator...can't catch a break with these old cars...cmon man!

*Odometer* just rolled over 77,000 miles!
=================================================================================

I am a simple college student that goes to Louisiana State University in Shreveport. I am 21 years old. I have a 1968 Cheverolet Camaro with a 1969 327 that's running about 375 hp.

A few things about the car that I know of, since i don't even pretend to know everything about cars.
-Edelbrock 625 carburetor
-Turbomax exhaust
-700-R 4 speed automatic transmission(with a shift kit I think)
-B&M bump shifter
-steel 2" cowl induction hood
-Tenzo R racing seats(have origonal seats upholstered as seen in pictures sitting in my closet in case I decide to sell car the new owner will have both and both sets of seat belts)
-SPARCO 4 point racing harnesses(both passenger and driver front seats
-12 bolt rearend with posi-traction w/3.52 gears
-headers(dont know make)
-Brand new aluminum radiator
-Colorado Customs steering wheel with full leather blue wrap(Hancock design)=a little pricey for a daily driver
-fully redone upholstery
-fully Functional Vintage Air A/C and Heater
-power steering (just put in new steering box)
-power brakes
-16 inch aluminum racing weld wheels(id like some wider ones in the front so if anyone is willing to trade or make a deal on some wheels I'm all game for a deal, preferrably Torq Thrust II)
-tinted windows
-custom pedals
-JVC Kameleon head unit
-2 Polk Audio 6X9's that actually sound really good thanks to the sound bouncing off the back glass

I must admit that I did not do most of the work myself. I had a mechanic do the work. It took him 2 years and about the same amount I payed for the car itself for him to get it in shape. But it looks the exact same on the outside. If you look closely you might notice that there is NO trailer. The car IS daily driven. Don't get a nice car and trailer it. It defeats the purpose of having a nice car. It has over 17,000 miles a year, because it is my only car. I have been invited to be in the World of Wheels car show but I didn't not have the time to clean it up properly. The car also has some minor things that I would like to fix before entering a show.

If you are bold and daring enough, feel free to talk to me online at Tal0885 on aim or email me at kohlman03@yahoo.com. I appreciate feedback.

This is my first webpage so hang in there with me and be happy to tell me if you see something I should change.

This is a pic of my car at the new house after it was out of the shop...2 years later, not much of a change on the outside.

Sexy Rear.

These are some pictures of the 1969 327 engine that is in it. Sorry for the fuzzy pics...I wasn't quite on my photography game that day.

And what is a decent car without a decent interior? Embroidered Camaro in the seats and door panels.

I will say that the radio in the car when I got it was a piece, the previous owner had cut the radio itself to make it fit in the slot. I decided to buy another one that would play CD's and look decent...only when it was turned on. So I decided on this Kameleon from JVC. It retails somewhere in the $300's but I got mine off of ebay for $168. It hides away and looks like a flat black panel when it is not turned on. Once its turned on, it looks pretty nice, even in an old car.

Sign the guestbook and rate my ride and on top of that, if it wouldnt be too much trouble, could ya take the poll?

This is my old man's ride when the weather permits. He has had it for over 20 years and always tells me that he has had it forever and how my car will come together in good time. Patience. It is a 1956 Cheverolet Nomad Bel Air. They made only 3000 of them per year for a total of 3 years. It is a bad pic of it, but it is maroon and beige. Interior is the same. it has a 383 V8. It has placed a few shows around the area and invited to be in the World of Wheels twice.
