I started out with my car on the interior, I made a lot of changes to the car as you will see.

First thing I started with was setting up a TFT screen. I purchased a 5 inch PSOne screen which worked fine but was a little bit too small and had no touchscreen option. So I sold this and bought a 7 inch touchscreen with great resolution! I molded this into the double DIN.

After that I started working on the carputer project which proved to be a pain in the ass like no other! I started of with an invertor which quit working afetr a while, plus it generated a whining noise on my tweeters which was really annoying. Than I bought a M2-ATX which I couldn't get to work from my battery, and after a few tests and fuck ups I got a new one which did work. And it works great! No whining noise and it boots and terminates the system by turning the car on and off.

I really wanted to have a DVD player as well, and to make it look authentic I wanted to use a slimline slot-in DVD player just below the double DIN. This was the worst thing to get handled so far. I have tried numerous enclosured and setups of the computer to make it work. Eventually all of the problems turned out to be enclosure related because the last one I bought works perfect.

The sound system I have has 2 JBL 250Watts RMS Subwoofers, and two compo sets of DLS R6A and an A4 DLS amplifier. This system really kicks ass and the sound is freaking awesome. Watching a DVD in the car is even better than going to the movies (really). The whole car is sound proofed all around, the only thing still vibrating is the license plate in the back.

I have shaven my instrument console at the steering wheel and repositioned the buttons to the right on the dash. After a while I bought 3 gauges and build two of them into the console.

I purchased a JDM climate control unit, looks awesome and will work great with my AC! I will be installing it sometime later when I have put the engine back in, but here's a pic for now (Thanks Joe!):

What I am working on right now is remodelling the door panels, well I actually have but it needs new upholstery. And although I did everything myself I am keeping my hands of of this and leaving it to a professional. I tried to do this with imitation leather but it looks as ugly as your mom as you can see.

But you get the idea what its gonna look like.

Here's another picture from the whole dash.

Ooh one more thing, the red on the pictures is not what it actually looks like, it's darker. Now it kinda looks pink. In really it actually looks nice, lol.

Things I have planned for the interior:

* Upholstery of the door panels, panels in the back, glove compartment box and the covers for the mid-woofers.

* 'Small' stuff like pedals, e-brake, gauges, steering wheel and more. At the mid console I will build in a docking unit for my I-Pod. I am gonna put in a GPS mouse and wireless network.

* I am gonna do some detailing in the back (Audio), build in fans etc.
