Last winter I decided to really step it up with a turbo setup that would be capable of 600+whp. I also wanted to change up the car completely so the exterior and interior were redone as well.

Because this was a total overhaul on the car is was stripped down to the shell once again. Because the new setup will be making alot more power and considering the problems I have had with the rad support in the past I decided to redo the front end. I started by cutting out the old rad support.

The frame rails were then strengthened using 1/4" plates bolted inside and out. From there I cut off the stock frame that was running down to the subframe and replaced it with steel tubing. This tubing is welded to the inside plate in the frame rail. A foot was then weled to the bottom to allow it to bolt to the existing lower subframe. This bar was then braced at a 45 degree angle down to the lower subframe. On the other end is a foot that allows this brace to be bolted to the lower subframe.

The stock rad support was replace with tubing running from side to side. The new rad support was supported by tubes runing at a 90 and 45 degree angle up from the top frame rail plate. Since eveything is welded to the plates and the plates are bolted to the frame rails it allows the new front end to be completely removed from the car if needed at a later time

With the new frame done it was time to get the engine sitting in the hole again. I decided to redo the mounts this time around and unfortunatly I didn't get any finnished pics of them.
