Sept 30th

Sorry for the lack of updates and lack of pics but I have been really really busy over the last few months.  I have video and pics of the car posted up on my facebook group.."Raven Autosports" if you want to take a look.  The car right now is tuned to 6500rpm making 555whp and 474wtq at 15psi and creeping to 18psi at redline.  Need a bigger wastegate (or maybe two this winter so I can run lower boost off the line).  I also I am at the end of my fuel systems capability.  Plans for this winter are to redo the entire fuel system and then push for bigger numbers.  Going to the track this weekend...hopefully some new best times.

  Sept 9th

Car is back up and running, made 615whp and 580wtq out of the new setup.  I will take some pics and post them up in a few days.  Waiting on some new injectors and a second fuel pump and I think I will push for 700whp. :)

Thanks to some cowards who thought it would be a good idea to steal a lot of the custom parts that this setup consisted of I am forced to start over and rebuild this setup.  The engine was sent out before the brake in (reason the little cowards got so much), hopefully ready to see 600+ whp out of it.  Stay tuned for updates

July 3rd

Got the new Precision intercooler mounted, lower charge pipe and the new tach installed.  This time around I went with the largest Intercooler that Precison makes, rated to 825hpl

Got the engine back from ZZPerformance and everything looks good.  New engine is bored .020 over with L67 rods and JE 8.0:1 forged pistons.  The balance shaft was removed, extra oiling work done on the bottom end, Hardened crankshaft, ballanced rotating assembly, stage 5 Stattama turbo cam, stage 1 CNC heads, all ARP hardwear and cometic gaskets.

July 6th

Just waiting on the new manifold flanges to show up tomorrow so I can start frabricating the new manifolds.  I will post up some pics tomorrow.

Welcome to my little corner of Cardomain, thanks for
stopping by. The site is dedicated to my 1998 Chevrolet
Cavalier Z24. If you check through the site you will
see the orignial swap and the problems I ran into with
it over the years. Last season I decided that it was
time for more and decided to get rid of the supercharger
and replace it with a PT-67 turbo.

*********2008 UPDATE*********

Got to working on the car over the last few months. The goal this year is just like other years, to go faster than last year. I would really like to be able to drive the car to the track, run somewhere in the 10's and drive home. To get this done I have added a set of Tein SuperStreet coil-overs with a 1000lb spring in the rear. Moving up to MT Drag ET 26x10x15 slicks mounted on 15x9 Weld light weight race wheels. A Greddy speed cut controller was wired in to allow the car to run a lower amount of boost of the line with higher boost coming in later on down the track. At this point brakes had to be addresses. I am waiting on a Wilwood kit for the fronts and I hope to make a custom setup using Wilwood parts for the rear sometime soon. An 8-point roll bar was installed complete with swing out bars on both sides of the car. Racespec seats were then installed with Sparco 4 point harnesses with cam lock buckles. I also decided to V-band the crossover pipe and manifolds for a better seal and cleaner look. The car is currently at the body shop getting resprayed for our first local show in a few weeks. I don't have pics of everything right now but when I do I will put them up. Here are the pics I have up to now...

***Update***
Got the car back from the body shop. Originally when I dropped it off it was suppose to be there to have minor dents and scratches repaired. My body guy was not happy with that so without me knowing he repaired everything, blocked out the whole car and repainted it. Car came out awesome and he didn't charge me anymore than he said originally. Here are the latest pics, still lots of little stuff to do before the first show next weekend but it's coming along quite well this year.

Slick one dude! Since seeing this Cavvy, I was inspired to drop a 3800 into my cavalier, but NO IDEA how to go about it...What all did you have to do, besides A LOT of customization?
