HOORAY! I have finally got something I have been searching for... A parts car!
I picked up this 1974 Dodge Dart Swinger from a local man for 800 bucks. It was a steal, considering that it has a built 340, REALLY nice interior, Posi-traction rear-end (goodbye limited-slip!) 4 Chromed rims w/dome caps, a nicer grille/ headlight covers, 2 perfect doors in 98% mint cond', a hood that isnt kinked, and an unbroken ORIGINAL side mirror with cables and inside mirror adjuster!
all things I can (and will) use...
plus two good bumpers

That built 340 doesnt look like much but the $600 worth of edelbrock intake and holly 4 bbl carb make up for it!!

WHAT A DEAL! WHAT A DEAL!

The plan is to take all usable parts off both my engine and the 340, buy a factory refurbished (NOT rebuilt) LB (long block)340 engine, sell the old blocks, heads and valve assemblies, and put all the new and refurbished parts together into one real clean engine compartment. All she will need then is something borrowed and something blue, and I can marry her!
