It's been along time since I've hit the dyno. Mainly because I haven't need to tune anything with the Stage 3 now. I've been rippin' up the streets nearly problem free for 5 month now!
coSRToc had a dyno competition yesterday which I was able to see how I stack up against some other local SRT-4's.

I dyno'd at 391.44hp & 441.31tq in High Octane Mode (HOM) on 110 octane race gas. FYI- I made 350-ish horsepower on pump gas (sorry I forgot to get a graph printed).

Well, I figured out why I was having so much trouble on the dyno with power falling off & lean A/F ratios... My walbro 255lph fuel pump is shot. Too bad I already switched over to my new Stage 3 set up before I figured this out:(

Well... It seems like I've had nothing but trouble since upgrading to the 650cc injectors. I've been chasing down minor issue & eliminating them one by one. Each thing provides better results but there's still much room for improvement.
Here's a few dyno overlays to demonstrate that as I've add the capability for more fuel... the worse the car has performed. despite how much we tune & adjust, the car is just not responding well? I'll be hitting the dyno with the 650's again in 2 weeks.

First of all thanks to Jeremy & Brian for showing up to help out. They proved to be a big help in tracking down some gremlins. I just finished installing a fuel pump last week & wanted to get it on the dyno to tune it. I fixed a wiring issue with the SAFCII & went down to MAC Autosport to see what I could pull off. After discovering that I had yet another wiring issue with the tach adaptor input & out wired backwards we were soon back on track. Here's the best run of the night
403.61 hp & 394.18tq at 20psi on 91 pump at about 5280 ft altitude.

I did back the boost down to 18psi for daily drivability & to get the AF ratio down to about 11.5-1 at redline. That produced a respectable 378.45 & 366.90tq.
I guess you could say after 4 months of constantly battling & tracking down issues, everything is finally starting to come together! Thanks to everyone who's helped or been supportive along the way. Thanks to Nick down at MAC for tunning this bad boy!

Still workin' out the bugs & learning how to use all this technology in the cockpit. Here's the best run on 91 pump at 18-ish psi. (Thanks Jeremy for all of your help as usual)!
We realized that the SAFCII isn't hooked up quite rite as it won't show any readings in real time? It pulled enought fuel to improve from a 288hp & 260-ish Tq to 352hp & 327Tq but it's still not pulling enough in the mid range? Looks like I'll be needing a fuel pump soon also as it starts to get lean up top. Here's the graphs, enjoy

I went to the dyno to try & get my boost dialed in after installing the larger injectors. All runs were made with 91 octane. I didn't realize until I got home that it was scaled in MPH instead of RPM at the bottom of the page...Doah! Here's the results
Best run of 319hp at 18psi with the spark cutting out. That's why it couldn't read the torque after the turbo started boosting hard.

Stock vs now overlayed.

Backfire at 22psi overlayed with my best run.

I dyno'd today at MAC Autosport to get some baseline numbers on my "bare bones" AGP 50 trim kit. I've seen so many other people dyno with the minimum supporting mods & get around 280-300whp at 15-16psi that I was really expecting to break 300whp as well. Unfortunately the adjustment screw on my brand new TurboXS manual boost controller stripped out leaving me stuck at 13psi :GRRRR:
SAE Corrected 279.49hp/ 278.59tq

In theory "1 PSI=10 hp" so 2-3 more PSI *should* have put me over the 300hp mark on 91 pump gas. Oh well, there's always next time! BTW- I'm in the market for an electronic boost controller now, Hahaha!

I decided to finally dyno to see where I'm at with the Stage 2 before I do an exhaust next week.
Based on my slower than average 1/4 Mile times (mostly on the back 1/8th) I was suspecting either spark plugs or boost leak problems? I replaced the plugs & re-gapped them before dyno-ing so that's eliminated for now.
Even though there are good gains throughout the mid-range(15-30+ HP& TQ) the overall shape of the curve & increased choppiness re-affirm what I already knew... something's not right. The car wants to make power like a motha but is falling on it's face resulting in a barely note-worthy peak gain of 3 Whp & a suprising 33 Ftlbs TQ.

Just Dyno'd the car yesterday at DynoPro to estabilish a baseline for future comparisons. Here's the results, remember Denver is 5280ft above sea level so the "un-corrected" numbers are slightly lower than most.
Baseline SAE Corrected 253hp/275tq

Baseline Un-corrected 210hp/229tq
