UPDATE: 15.MAR.04 - I sprayed a steel rim with black paint today...going for a basic, hard edge sorta look. Ive seen a few cars around with em and i rekon it looks nice, i still need to spray the bolts and center cap black - and then put in the lowering springs!!
Well the skirts arrived today and here are some shots of me just sorta test fitting them....
Here they are all wrapped up...
I gave em a good clean, wax and polish as they were real dirty when I got em...
Just proped up with books to see how they will look. Ill screw em in maybe tommorrow.
I reckon they look real phat...adds a few extra kilos to the mirage :)
UPDATE: 5 MAR 04 - I fitted one of the skirts last night.....Only took about 1 hour, I was gonna pay my local Jap panel shop to do it but I thought Id save the money, even tho Im a Fashion student I still know my way around the garage:)
There was 6 screws in total so I had to drill 6 holes, 2 in the wheel arch and 4 underneath the car....had to jack it up to get the drill under there. Looks pretty good to me
Damn, when I lower it in a few weeks those skirts will be even closer to the pavement..
