Hi everybody, this is the European made 99 Ford Escort and as you can see, she is completely different than the US version.

There's no REV Limiter in this engines so that they can make 7000rpm, in stock condition, if needed... Of course this 11.5 seconds are factory info, I can make it shorter by using more revs.

The funny thing is that, in the owner's manuel, it is written that this engine can cope with 7100RPM for a short period!!!
Can u imagine, an Escort and 7100RPM!!!
I'll put the owner's manuel data in my page too, as soon as I scan it.

The engine is 1.6 liter DOHC 16 VALVE, fuel injection with aluminium cylinder head and hydrolic valve control that needs no valve adjustments. As you can see, there's no RED LINE for this model but of course its not seriouly effective in 7000's like vtec's.

New mod: New Amplifier, its a 2x125, I use it for the rear speakers


These are my rear speakers
6 ways, 500 WATT, 163 X 235 mm WOOFER, IMPEDANCE : 4 OHM, 30 Hz / 20 000 Hz.
The interesting thing about these speakers is that, you can buy it at 17$, and it had the latest models features, including the plastic interior, rather than paper made material.

Another last minute update, new tweeters for the rear speakers

2 ways, 120 WATT, 131 mm WOOFER, 30mm MIDRANGE, IMPEDANCE : 4 OHM, 100-20,000 Hz.
Thats my new mod, I replaced the front stock Blaupunt speekers (sound like crap) by another cheepest car audio product:) However this brand new one has tweeters and sounds much much better that the previous one.
...and these are my new front speakers..yesss thats cheap, but much much better than the stock Blaupunts on the upperside...
