This is my 2003 Jet Black Hyundai Tiburon GTV6 Auto. I've had it since July 1st, 2002, and just decided to finally make a page showing it. :)

So you all know, I chose orange as a color scheme b/c I am all about being different...and, well, what's more different than orange? :)

Update: 6/15/08:
Just realized the other day I had my knock detection unit retarding my motor 6 degrees this whole time...something definately not needed on a built motor. Can't wait to see what I can do with the timing put back into the motor.

Update: 3/29/08:
Went to the track last night. Ran a 12.66 @ 109.03 mph, untuned, spinning through all of first gear. Had some pretty bad 60' times too (1.960 on that run). Even though they weren't that great, I still got a new personal best 1.926 60'. With a better 60' and without spinning through first gear next time out, I'll be right at low 12s. Slip on page 5.

Update: 3/17/08:
Higher stall converter, stiffer valve body springs, 22" slicks, and a map ecu are all in now. Just waiting for a warm track night and for a few more things to come in the mail. Low 12s here I come. Might have one small other thing up my sleeves too...Stay tuned.

I'll be hitting up the track Mar. 28th, 2008. More boost, built motor, built tranny, about 60 more whp...and maybe even slicks. Stay tuned.

Update: 6/18/05: Happy Bday to me :P. Been a while since I updated...car has been outta comission since december with bent valves, got debris on my timing belt and it threw it off. New mods and times hopefully this week. Then I'm home for the summer, so I've gotta garage my baby :(.

Ok new times. 13.049 @ 107.90mph!!! I'm ticked I didn't get 12.999....but oh well. Slip on page 5.

Went to track tonight. New best time. 13.735 @ 102.66mph!!! I was going for 13.999. Slip on page 5.

Update: 10/16/04:
Went to track and dynoed yesterday. 235WHP on a loaded dyno (so about 240whp-250whp on a dynojet) and a 14.447 @ 97.70mph. It'll have to do for now. Dyno sheet and slip on page 5.

Plenty of new pics finally. Stage 2 supercharger kit installed. Dyno and track times next week. I have NO CLUE why the pics look so damn blurry on here...they are perfectly clear saved here on my comp...so it's something about being on this site that kinda killed the quality...

Ok I'm going to the track saturday (and my bday is friday) so wish me luck. I've got my drag radials now...so it should be an interesting day. :)

Ok, im pissed. Best of the night was 15.213 @ 93.44mph. I cant wait for my drag radials. I spin way too much off the line, and im chirping from 1st gear to second, and from 2nd to third, meanwhile I have an auto...thats how bad it was...

Update: 4/16/04:
Ok, kind of a disappointing night at the track. It was way too slippery. Best I could pull off was a 15.225 @ 92.57mph. But atleast I got a new best reaction time, which is now .019. :)

Update: 3/31/04:
Ok, my supercharger, lower IM, plugs, wires, and motor mount are all in. Now im just waiting for my friend to send me the pics from his camera so I can update the performance section with more pics.
