I entered a local car show, I had heard that the judge mainly was interested in how clean a car was, so I spent ~3 hours cleaning and waxing the baby:
I didn't win, but I am gonna claim that I did help the Acura NSX win 3rd because I parked next to him. hahaha!
After the show, I took the judge for a spin to show off a little. "Whoa, this thing is STUPID FAST!" is all that he could say, and that was from a WRX STi owner too :-)
Well crap, my GTS taillight blackout covers broke off while driving fast...
I found them both on the side of the road all broken. Time to either get some tinted vinyl or blackout spraypaint...
Some Police have nothing better to do except harass us for mods than to be actually looking for 'real' criminals....so I decided to remove the old rear spoiler brackets and add the 1990-1991 GSi spoiler on.

Started off by filling the old holes with bondo-glass and then sanding. I sanded the old clear coat too to make it rough enough for the new paint to bond to it properly. Once sanded, I used primer on the original area to help fill in the imperfections.

Once that was done, I painted the hatch with multiple layers of paint, then ran clear coat over the finished product. Once it was dry, I bolted on the new GSi Spoiler.
I did the same thing to the front bumper to fill in some of the imperfections of the original Sawz-all modifications I did :-)
I went to the SPC Performance car show in Longmont, CO and it was pretty much rained out. There was an ok turnout, and I actually won a really cool wrench!
