I bought this car back in 2000 and really liked the way it handled. So I decided to start adding modifications to make it even better.

One of the first things I did was add a 55 shot of Nitrous. That was a lot of fun, but quickly started to become expensive. Refilling a bottle once a week at $35-$40 was really starting to hurt.

Handling was good, but I wanted to make it better, so I started researching lowering the car with Coilovers. I discovered that nobody had any for sale, so I decided to contact a company and have them made. The handling is so much tighter and makes the car handle so much better. If you are interested in a set, Click here Geo Storm Coilovers. I have the coilovers on KYB-GR2 struts. The car rides like it is on a rail!

With the old 1.6L SOHC engine, I added a GSi throttlebody, ported the intake, added a CAI, thicker radiator(2x thick), Grounding Kit, MSD Blaster Coil, Accel Custom 8mm Plug wires & Bosch Platinum 4 plugs. I also added Front and Rear Strut Tower Bars.

But that wasn't fast enough for me, so I did a total engine buildup with a DOHC turbocharged engine. Keep going to see the progression of this buildup

Here is my pit crew. . .my kids love to help out, and it is the greatest thing in the world to be able to ask your kids to get you a 12mm socket on a 3/8" drive wrench, oh, and get me a Mountain Dew, and they get it without missing a beat.
