I sold this car in August of 2005 to a local guy in the DC area.
I have 2 new 510s that I am working on. I will post them soon.

This is my 1972 Datsun 510 2 door. I have owned it since 1987.
I have swapped out the 4 cylinder and installed an all aluminum 215 V-8 from a 1963 Olds F85.
The motor is rebuilt and has an Isky cam, 3 angle valve job, custom made jet hot coated headers that dump out the front running 2 1/2 " dual pipes all the way back to a set of Flowmasters,
an Offy intake, Holley 390cfm carb, a Pertronix unit in the distributor and is cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator with 4 Spal electric cooling fans. The trans is a B/W T-5 from a 1986 Pontiac Trans-Am and the rear is a 3.36:1 R180 unit from a Datsun 240Z.The interior has seats from a Porsche 944 and a nice Alpine head unit and Alpine speakers. The wheels are from a 1981 Datsun 280ZX Turbo and measure 15"X6" with 195-50-15 tires. I have replaced the front struts with 280ZX struts with coilovers and it has Koni inserts on all 4 corners. It has Quickor sway bars front and rear.The body will be restored soon.
