Looks like the PO hired a questionable mechanic last time around. #4 liner slipped and caused my coolant leak. No real damage, but I will have to replace all the bearings (which of course are no longer made.)
Current plans are mild headwork and JE Pistons, which will raise the compression from 7.5:1 to 8.5:1. That will make me happy (for now.) Engine should be back in the car by May 1, and properly tuned by the 31st.
After some interior cleanup (minor upgrades/updates,) and exterior mods (removing louvers and building new rear valance in FG,) I will add a liquid to air IC and run additional boost. My goal is 300HP at the crank (which should move this car through the 1/4 mile in about 13 seconds.)
