Hello everyone and this is my 2000 Civic Ex 5spd coupe, which I just purchased (feb 21st, 2004). Although its stock, i just finished installing my deck and sub, and I have many mods planned for it. I think I'd like to keep it a sleeper with slight JDM influences. So please check back often.

3-1-04
Well i ordered a stock civic si spoiler and it came in, and it's bitchin. So i'm going to have that installed and i also ordered a JDM style front grill and an Injen cold air intake (lucky me). I'll keep you posted when i get all of the parts on...

3-9-04
Well the intake finally came in, so that's being installed. I also installed neons in the foot wells that are wired directly to the battery with an inline fuse and a switch. The switch is located where the stock foglight switch would be. Oh i also added another sub and i installed Boston Acoustics component speakers in the front and Alpine type-s 6x9's in the
rear. Sounds simple but it actually required the removal of almost every interior panel to reach the speakers on the rear deck. I also had to cut out larger holes in my door panels. But the result is amazing, also worth every penny and every hour.

3-17-04 Happy St. Patty's Day! Anyway the intake has been on for a while and it is abosolutley *orgasmic*. I STRONGLY recommend INJEN intakes!!! I also installed my JDM style front grill which looks sick. I think two red "H" emblems would help to accent the grill better so i'll probably do that next, along with an exhaust.

3-23-04
Awesome news! I ordered a RS-R ex mag catback exhaust today! And as far as i can tell i'll be one of the only 96-00 ex with that system, not to mention probably the only person in ct with it. So i'll be original, and it's gonna be awesome! next time i update i should have pics

4-7-04
Well as luck would have it i got into an ACCIDENT yesterday. So now my baby has about $2500 worth of damage. The good news is i wasn't at fault at all and i should have too much of a problem getting the insurance money from the guy who hit me. So my car should be like new soon, and hopefully if i have some money left over i can get some more mods.

4-22-04
my exhaust FINALLY came in, over a month later!! DO NOT deal with the people at driftspeed.com, oh and they sent me the other RS-R exhaust, but whatever i like this one too and i installed it. It's sick. Oh and the check for my accident came in, $1,100, kinda small but my shop can fix it. So the baby will be down for a couple of days, but will look better than ever. And hopefully i'll get some more pictures up of the emblem, new subs (on loan), and the exhaust.

4-24-04
Nothing new really, the sound of the exhaust is changing a lil since i think it is breaking in, and i got NEW pics!

5-9-04
Well haven't updated in a while because there's isn't really anything new. I FINALLY got the silencer for my exhaust out. The end result was me and reynolds on our asses with a rope, a rod, and a silencer flying at our faces at 30 mph... not pretty. Anywho, it's very deep and so loud that it makes your eardrums hurt and part of the car vibrates. But now that i can remove it easily i'll be able to change it when i go to the strip, and when i go to import wars on june 26th (can't wait!), well that's all folks, hopefully next time i update i should either have a short throw shifter, tinted windows, or underbody neons. Who knows, maybe all 3.

5-14-04
Well i'm a man of my word and as promised i have a new mod, a skunk 2 short throw shifter. It is priceless, i absolutley love the thing. So i'm still getting used to it and getting ready for import wars.

5-27-04
Not much going on in the civic lately, however i did install a vtec activation light. I was curious to see if it would work and it actually did, so now whenever the car is above 5,500 rpm (and is moving) a light on the dash comes on which means the aggressive cam lobes are engaged. It sounds kind of pointless but if you're whipping through some curves and trying to keep the revs in vtec, it can help. Maybe i'll do a rpm activated LED shift light to compliment the vtec light. Hopefully i'll get some pics too.

6-6-04
Well i've been looking for cheap mods lately and i thought of some instead. As dumb as it sounds i took my 3 interior bulbs and my trunk light bulb, and colored them with a blue sharpie. It actually came out suprisingly well. I also made a custom grounding kit with 4 guage electrical wire, connectors, and a battery cable i got at walmart. All in all for the 15 bucks, it came out nice. I also got new plugs since mine sucked so now they're bosch platinum 4.

6-30-04
Well i got my wheels in today. It's been so long since i updated that i forgot to mention that i bought wheels. So yes i a little while (when i can afford tires) the civic will be rollin on 16's woo hoo. So they're 16" motegi MR12's in gunmetal.

8-13-04
Well holy shit, the civic finally has its wheels on. Basically it all depended on me getting a job (which i did) and now they're on and they look hott. I should have pictures up soon once i clean her up. I'm also running Falken 512 tires (205/50/r16) and they're sticky like reefer.

8-24-04
The headlights are on. They're just sickness. I had to modify them (see page 6) but it turned out good.

9-17-04
Well i haven't updated in a while but things are finally rolling. The turbo-the-rice-rocket project is finally underway. So far i have a (what i believe to be) new Garrett T3 "super 60" turbo, that is internally wastegated. I also ordered a johnnyracecar.com intercooler and an oil line and flange kit today. I've already installed my apexi turbo timer and my autometer a/f gauge in preparations for the turbo (and it's in the gauge pod) now i'm just waiting on the boost gauge.
After that i'll still need a turbo manifold, downpipe (more than likely will be made by me) and a socketed p28 ecu with conversion harness so i can run the hondata s100b (need that too). After that i should only need a BOV and some piping and random couplers. Check back for more updates!

11-1-04
Well i'm almost ready to install the turbo, i still need about 4 things (intercooler piping and connectors, downpipe, blow off valve, and some gaskets and bolts) But it's come a long way! The hondata idea was a no go because the cost of tuning was too expensive and i couldn't find the parts quickly and at a reasonable price. So i bought a VAFC-II (already installed it) and it works very nicely and is easy to use. So i should be able to tune pretty effictivly with it. I also installed my boost gauge (yes it works, no it doesn't see boost; yet) and i also got in a beautiful set of tuner toyz 450cc injectors. I also bought a Max Rev turbo manifold off a friend which will be sick.

12-31-04
Well tomorrow is 2005, yay, hopefully it'll be better than this year. I just got in my Tial 35/38mm wastegate and i took some new pics so check out page 6.

2-13-05
Well the halos looked like shit since they were filled with water/fog. I finally got so fed up, i saved up and went JDM. So check out page 5, i'll get better pics up later.

8-15-05
It's been an eternity since i updated, but i finally have a reason to. I finally installed my turbo kit and i also installed sidemarkers on my car.

9-02-05
Cleaned it up a bit, took some new pics. I'm waiting to get my Si front lip painted and installed, and i should also have a 3" thermal R&D exhaust and cat comming soon as well. I'll post some more when that shit comes in.

10-04-05
Well things are really rolling now. I just installed my civic Si front lip, and a new walbro 255LPH fuel pump. Hopefully by the end of the week i can pick up a boost controller and have my beast dyno tuned. Finally looking good!

12-07-05
Well the turbo has been on for about 4 months (10,000 miles) now, and so far so good. I Now have a P28 chipped ecu running Crome, so my vafc is now used for decoration basically. So much nicer having a tuned car. I'm also street tuned to 10 psi and i run about 8#'s daily. Hopefully this winter i can pick up a new engine and start my project....

4-3-06
Well it's been ages since i've updated so here's what's new. I took the turbo off about 2 months ago so i could pass emissions. Sad i know, but it's nice because it's 100 percent reliable now, plus i can run regular gas, which is good right now. Lately i've been focusing on suspension and braking mods and next to go in will be tein s-tech springs, kyb struts, camber kit, rotora slotted rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads. After that i'm gonna try to get ahold of a B16 and have some real fun. Stay tuned...

4-13-06
New struts and springs are in, what a world of difference. Didn't get a camber kit yet, lack of cashflow. Hopefully the pads and rotors will be in by next week. Also need to get rid of my wheels so i can get some 15" slipstreams with sticky tires.

8-18-06
Well i haven't updated in quite some time; but a lot has been going on! I re-turbo'd the car. This time i'm using a watercooled turbo to help with reliability and to change it up a bit. I also dyno tuned my car, and have done some other small changes (like my homemade swaybar). I also traded my motegis for Si wheels, and now have dunlop direzza dz101 tires on them. I also got my motor back from the machine shop. They put ITR intake valves in it, along with ITR intake springs, and swapped the inner springs to the exhaust side to stiffen the exhaust springs. They also milled the block, bored it .020 over, honed it, resurfaced the flywheel, mic'd the crank and threw acl bearings in it, and on the rods, and placed the pistons on the rods. I then installed the CP piston and Eagle rod combo into the block.

Hey I noticed you are using tein s tech springs and kyb agx shocks. I'm about to buy the same springs and shocks for my civic and I wanted to know how you like the both of them. Thanks
