-1979 Lincoln Continental MkV-
.
.
" The Lincoln range had always concentrated on luxury before light weight, but in 1978 that changed with the launch of the Mk V Continental. While looking almost identical to its predecessor the Lincoln Coupe, it was almost 500 lb (227 kg) lighter, which made it perform and handle better. This didn't stop designers having a field day with the options list, however, as the Mk V featured every possible extra to pamper the occupants. "
under 9000 miles on it!
NOT FOR SALE!
full optioned car including 8-track tape deck and CB plus moon roof and electric quarter-windows (which usually don't open on this model).
Its hard to show its true color as it changes alot depending on lighting etc but I think they are all close.
This is by far the smoothest car I have driven, more so than any new car, and is the most mint condition MkV I have ever seen, drives, looks and smells like new...
I don't believe there is a better example anywhere unless Ford/Lincoln had one put aside.
My father brought this over to New Zealand, its only been here since Boxing day 2003....check it out...
