New black fabric on door panels. the old ones look decent in this picture, but are really in bad shape with the stitching comming apart and tears. Going to all black interior to match new black carpet and small touches of grey trim. Right- new black rubber mats with grey Camaro Logo & various other odds and ends. Dynamat Extreme sound deadening material material installed in front area- still need to finish cargo area. New deluxe ACC carpet kit- very nice form fit (had to overlay the old onto the new to cut rear center console holes- have to vaccuum debris off new carpet still, its full of padding lint.)

Needed to modify brackets, seats were sitting too high at first, cut and weld sliders 2" lower directly to the floorboard bracket, then bolted the bracket to the floor. All finished in main lower areas. Time to move on to the door panels and headliner next.

Going to a Hurst Dual Gate Ratchet Shifter.
However, I am toying with the idea of having my own custom shifter console plate made to prevent the shifter from going down the standard mode slot. Plate would be milled out of aluminum sheet then anodized black.V6RSR's 1987 Chevrolet CamaroV6RSR's 1987 Chevrolet Camaro

Racing gear. Simpson Speedway Shark Helmet with FX- custom cheel pad work for ventilation, Nomex lining. Sparco state of the art XL300 Nomex- extremely lightweight firesuit (3-2A/5 certified. Sparco gloves and boots. CarbonX hood.

Passing the driving torch. I am teaching my daughter Mercedes (14 in pic) how to drive starting in indoor racing karts. Its time I start teaching her pedal skills so she has it mastered before she gets behind the wheel of a car in the next few years. She's doing well, its in the bloodline ( and I am swaeting my ass off racing little go karts in my $1700 fire/ racing suit becasue the place does not have a thin kart suit tall enough for me, nor do they have a kart I fit comfortably in! thats why I do not look happy (Haha) .
