Rear exhaust routing. Eliminated heavy single inlet dual outlet standard F-body style rear muffler routing in place of a lighter polar weight setup. This new setup is 40 lbs lighter and incorporates a very small turbo style 11" long cherrybomb muffler and exhaust tip at the rear and also a custom made stright through flow Stainless Works 2 1/2" inlet/outlet 3 1/2" OD body and 28.5" long baffled muffler in place of the old existing I-pipe that follows next to the driveshaft.
I tried just the I-pipe muffler and it was still just a tad too loud- the addition of the cherrybomb turbo style chambered muffler in conjuction with the other gave a very nice smooth and powerful sounding blend even at very high RPM's. Even the popular Dynomax F-body mufflers sound like crap at 6000 rpms on a 60*V6. I found a great sounding exhaust with this combo at all rpm levels.
