Running with a Lola T-70 and a full race A/C Cobra (both on race tires, Camaro on street tires) at the VARA intermission session on Calif Speedway. Were were limited to 85mph on the straights during the 45min lunch session, but managed to get a 123mph banked turn one before the 3 of us were sidelined and lectured for breaching 85mph. 123.3mph max speed was clocked on my handheld GPS unit- not bad for a little V6 on a closed circuit.
Later that session- Both cars out. One of my brothers driving the Vette behind me. Taking down a BMW M3 into turn 3 on Calif Speedway
Thats me leading the pack down the front straight of Calif Speedway at a private track day rental in 2004. Dallas Raines (Local weather man) and his best friend are in the GT3 white Porsche in the rear of the first pic. I was running the front straight at an estimated tad over 165mph and just walked away from everybody.
