The truck is back together after the major accident I was in last year. I have owned this truck since new in '89. Its an '89 Chev 1/2 ton longbed- Or it was. THere is so much to list (You think the Camaro list is long?- Huh- this is larger). There is absolutely NOTHING stock on this truck, not even the frame.
It was in major need of an overhaul on the outside (Underneath has always been built (Its my sleeper worktruck). Had the accident not taken place I probably still would not have painted it- but, since sh*t happens, this is what I built putting my baby back together. It was actually far cheaper than buying a new truck. I did every bit of custom work myself other than the paint job with actually MAACO did and even colorsanded it for me for free *Friend of a friend owns the local shop and was eager to paint it for me knowing it was such a unique vehicle.
Anyways, My version of a C6 Z06 Corvette replica in a truck version. It has a Traco Built (Traco is synonmous with Corvette Race Motors) Vortec head motor that is still smog legal and fairly gas milage friendly since this remains MY daily driver and believe it or not "worktruck" hauling all kinds of crap in my Stone installation business.

The finished truck all waxed up and on display at Toyota Speedway. I also had my 68 Vette there next to the truck. This was a mini carclub car show at Irwindale during the NASCAR Whelen races.

The track let me uncork the Vette and do a few parade lap burnout passes for the crowd before the races started. I sidestepped the clutch in 2nd gear at the end of the bleachers and cut the ass end sideways @ 70mph- got a standing ovation the next lap around.
