This is the system build of my old system. It consists of: *Alpine 9815 Head Unit *DynAudio 240gt Components in front doors *DLS Ulitmate A3(running the Dyns) *Image Dynamics IDQ10 V2D2 *DLS Ultimate A3 (running the subs)
DLS Ultimate A3 IDQ10s and DLS A3s, just before installing them. Damn they look good together dont they?
DynAudio 240GT 6.5 components Image Dynamics IDQ10 v2d4 sub
MDF(3/4") frame for subwoofer box, fiberglass bottom. The separate enclosures are 0.6 cu. ft per side, and will house a pair of Image Dynamics IDQ 10s.
Area to be fiberglassed is taped off with plastic trash bags to keep resin from getting on carpet.
Bottom of box to be fiberglassed was stretched over with an old bed sheet that I had. It was stapled on the bottom edges and sides to keep it nice and tight.
Then I added the polyester resin to the cloth to soak it up. Then after it dries, I will begin with my fiberglass matting/resin build up to about 6 layers or so.
First layer of matting (3/4 oz matte)
Test fitting the two DLS Ultimate A3s into the amp rack. I will drill the holes in the rack and run the wires underneath for that clean look.
Test fitting of distro block rack, which houses the DynAudio Xover units as well.
Semi finished sub box, you can see the finished xover rack in the rear wall of the truck.
