This is my '72 Sunroof Barracuda. No, the 'Cuda dosen't have a Hemi or a Viper V-10 (bummer huh.)
It currently has a 318 bored .060" with ported, polished and shaved 360 heads, a crane powermax cam, Offenhauser Port O Sonic intake, 600 cfm Edelbrock, and a NOS Sniper System. This car with me in it tips the scales at exactly 3600#'s So it's a fat piggy. The best run to date with the 2.76 gear ratio and NO Nitrous was a whopping 15.37 at 87.83 mph, and best G-Tech Pro Comp pull was 198 rhp.
Just installed a 3.55 w/dana power lok and also picked up the rebuilt 340 short block from the machine shop. Now I just have to finish Porting the W-2 heads and install them. You can see more of this and my other projects at
I have run simulations on Desktop Dyno 2000 about the 340 with the ported W-2 heads on it. I'm really excited to get this engine going as peak hp numbers show to be 558hp @ 7000rpm and 465 ft/lbs. @ 5500.
