Check out my Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and let me know what you think. I've had it for about 3 years and everyday I keep on working on her :)
For all those hardcore 3000GT Fans, before you go ahead and start doubting my ride being a 1994 VR4 (because of the 1st gen body and no active aero stuff), you might want to check out my thread on 3si: Click Here to visit the thread. For those who are lazy, here's a summary:
Its a 1994 VR4, no active spoiler, front air dam or active exhaust. It has a passenger airbag (only found in 2nd gen's), 2nd gen steering wheel, dash is in Km/h only, 5 speed, has All Wheel Drive & All Wheel Steering, has no VINs anywhere, just the chassis number imprinted on the firewall. It also has sidemarkers (only found in european models and GTO's), has a dual center gauge for boost/temp and a clock in the left gauge pod.
Here is a pic of the OZ Racing wheels I got for my ride. They are 18x8.5 and run on 255/40 tires all around. I used to run 255/35 but last time I changed tires I didn't find em and must say that the road feels much better with the 255/40's and I dont think it looks so bad.
My neighboor who graduated with me has a 97 Eclipse which is very nice, here is a pic of both Mitsu's chillin outside his house :) More pics to come in the future, just need to find a time when we both have our cars clean and have time to go and find a nice spot to take some pics.
This is the VLS Kit (Vertical Lift System) I installed just 1 month ago. I bought it from Import Precision (Link is above) and installed it myself. Took about 13 hours for the drivers door (this was the first mayor work I had done on the car myself) and about 10 hours for the passenger's door which I did the following weekend. It wasn't that hard due to the graphical instructions booklet it brought but I did run into some complications (Thats why I took about 24+ hours total instead of 5 hours for both doors haha)
Another pic showing up the VLS kit. I must say that ever since I installed them the car gets so much more stares (like if It didnt already) hehe.. Its nice when people you don't know come up to you and start asking about your ride. The girls seem to like it too ;)
