UPDATE: 05/29/06
I sold the GZ! Since I bought the Gixxer I've been planning on selling it to my friend. Well I did a few weeks ago, and I've been teaching him the basics of riding. He'll be taking the MSF course this summer, so I'm wishing him the best, it's nice to have a riding buddy, even if he is on a 250, lol.
My new (new to me) motorcyle!!
UPDATE: 11/18/05
Well I'm gonna get a new bike pretty soon. I just gotta take the MSF course, and make my last couple of payments on this one. I'll pay this one off and take the course this month, so within the next month or so I'll be getting a new bike. I'm looking more for a GSX-R600 now. Something 2000 and up.

UPDATE: 10/29/05
I changed the oil and oil filter in it and cleaned the air filter. I also flipped the air intake around, it was facing backwards, so I flipped it to the front to allow more air into the engine. I also drilled out the exhaust a little for a little more sound. That's really all I can do to this bike. Oh yea, I took the rear seat off as well.

Well I've been talking and thinking about it a lot lately, and I finally went ahead and got it.
It's my brother's old bike. He bought a new 05 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100, so he was wanting to sell this one. Since I've been wanting a bike anyway, I decided to scoop it up. I really want to get an R6, but I figure this will be a great bike to learn on, and a lot more forgiving than a sports bike. Plus, it won't go but 80mph, so it should keep me out of trouble, lol. Insurance is only gonna be $50 a YEAR!! I'm gonna take an MSF course, so maybe that will give me a break too. THIS THING GETS 65+MPG!!! It's a lot of fun too. I'm gonna give it a tune-up, fresh oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug and maybe it will run even better. :-)
