Read the story i wrote to figure out whats up with this prelude. thanks...

Hey guys i have recently updated this site as of December 31st/2004. I purchased this Prelude a little more than a year ago when i was 15 years old. It was kind of a trade-deal with my brother. I was pretty stupid about vehicles about then because i couldn't keep focused on one project. I must have owned about 10 vehicles or more from the time when i was 14 and had a 1989 Ford Escort GT, until now, I am 16. Yep...pretty retarded how a 16 year old kid could own about 10 vehicles isn't it? Oh well life goes on.....I apologize to everyone looking forward to what this car would have been like when it was finished. Your probably wondering whats become of my Prelude, and RX-7, so I will explain. My prelude was in the middle of getting stripped and ready for restoration, when i heard about an RX-7 which my buddies brother owned. He wanted $300 dollars for it with a blown motor. As time went on i became more and more interested in the RX-7 and wanted to do a v8 swap, or turbo rotary swap to it. I bought the RX-7 and was kind of working on the 2 vehicles at once until a point. The yard was pretty full of vehicles at this point, 6 if i remember correctly (not all mine, i had the 2.). My mother wanted my brother and i to get rid of our "junk", if i remember correctly, she wanted each of us to get rid of a vehicle. Looking at each vehicle i had to make a choice...I decided to send my Prelude to the scrapyard. Over the next few months, i was tossing ideas around in my head about the RX-7's fate. A TurboII rotary and a Small block chevy were the 2 main choices. At this same time, a friend of mine was having his insurance prices raised, So he made the decision to sell his 1989 Honda CRX Si. This car also had a SOHC ZC engine from Japan installed. I didn't know all that much about bodywork at the time and both rear quarter panels were full of bondo, something i thought could be easily, and cheaply fixed. The car's price tag was $2,000 so before i had the cash to buy it, i sold the RX-7 and took a loss of $50 of the price i paid for it. I never did end up buying that CRX mostly because i didn't have the cash, but also because many people were telling me not to, because of the poor body condition. For the first time since i was 14 i was without a vehicle. I wanted something that didn't need much work, something i could put on the road right away. I pretty much had my mind set on a EG6 Civic (1992-1995). I found a few nice ones for fairly cheap but i decided to hold off, and wait for a while to see if anything else would come up. A friend of mine, Terry had this 1995 Ford Ranger for a while, and he had some plans for it...maybe turn it into a lowrider (Passengers side boxside was straight up FUCKED, and the frame was bent a little bit because someone T-Boned it.). My brother mentioned that he would give him $500 dollars to take it off his hands. My brother told me i should buy it, and about 2 weeks later i did. (He had to make room for his 89 Nissan Skyline GT-R...not such a bad sacrifice hehe) After the bad decisions i had made about vehicles in the past, i have decided to keep the Ranger. Its a 95, Regular cab, short box...Nothing too special performance wise just a 2.3L backed by a 5 speed standard. So far i have got a new Box(side), Diff, Tires, Stereo (see pics), Intake, MPV Wheels, And a bunch of other things to bring it back (or close to) the original condition. My brother and I are doing bodywork on it, straightening the frame, etc...my brother even painted some of it already...2000(?) GM Corvette blue i think. None of this would have been possible without him, so props to ya! :)

Hey man, thanks for checking out my ride. I dont live in county park but im there a lot. I dont like all the ricer stuff, what I do have is coming off. Ive thought about the EG6 bumper on my car but I really like the stock 4dr one with a lip or a really simple body kit front, maybe an R34 style or something. Good luck with your car(s)lol.
