NEW UPDATE 28 JULY 2008 have some new plans for the cav as i just cannot let her go since i have so much time and money into her, so i have decided to finish her and have some amazing plans ready for her and she will be done fast and in time for the bash next year. she will be a complete shocker to everyone. i will keep you all updated as much as possible.
i got a new addition to the cav, my toyota cavalier fenders and tinted side marker lights. they are on their way right now. i will get pictures as soon as i recieve them.
today i also inquired about a few new parts ill be getting. they are as follows:
-GM Performance Parts Ecotec race prepped block
-GM Performance parts cam gears
-GM Performance Parts Neutral balance shafts
-GM Performance Parts Hardened Oil Gears
-GMPP/Bates Dual Valve Spring kit with retainers, seats and everything
-GMPP/Bates .5mm oversized SS/Inconel valves
-RK Sport lightweight crank pulley
......and a few other goodies, so i will keep everyone updated as progress comes along
im also bumping up my goal for power and the turbo size. im going with a gt37r or more commonly known as the t67.

got a few new parts, the first is my new turbo manifold. well here are 4 pics of the turbo manifold. it has a 1/2" thick 304 steel flange and the tubing is 1 1/2". its a t3 style turbo inlet flange and the wastegate flange a for a tial 44mm wastegate

Up Close and Personal with the intake side ports, These are how a port job should look, so clean and shiney.

this winter the cav is undergoing an enormous change.
the current turbo setup is sold and i am doing a full engine build along with a monster turbo setup with the garrett dual ball bearing gt35r leading the setup. looking to hit that magical 400+whp mark, actually get closer to 500whp for the track.
as for the exterior and interior and brakes and suspension, they are also getting finished up for the 2008 season.
she will be unveiled in may 2008, but i will keep a detailed post on here and jbody.org on her progress.

Future of the car:
The entire turbo setup that is currently on the car is being sold and the man who is buying it is picking it up at the end of this month (September). I am starting a new full engine build and am doing more things to the interior. I am also doing my suspension more thoroughly and am also doing my brakes too. I am looking for that complete car. I want the performance to run 11�s in the quarter and then pull the car over and quick detail it and have it show ready and be able to place. That is my goal with this car.
