I swapped the pollyhead 318 for a 426 Max Wedge out of a 1964 sport fury. Yeah, Its got some balls. So far ive wasted 4 Civics, 1 Prelude, 3 Integras, and 2 Eclipses. True, Its nothing to brag about, But I hate Rice burners. Its got dual 750 cfm Carter carbs. Mopar Performance cam, Summit Racing-gear drive, Mopar Performance distributor and coil with accel wires. The Exhaust is flowing through Hedman Ceramic headers and dual magnaflows. I Built up the original tranny and put it back in. I took out the center console and put in a B&M Ratchet shifter with a linelock. It has 4:11 gears and posi. I put Racing leafsprings in it from Mopar, but they didnt quite raise it enough in the rear. Its got a full pioneer and kicker audio system. I Inherited the car when I was 13,Im now 19. The car has 74,000 miles on the body, and the 318 thats sitting on my shop floor. There isnt one bit of rust. Future plans are a High-stall torque converter,Polished Torque Thrusts with 15x10's in the rear, Taking the subs out of the trunk and replace em with a fuel cell, A fiberglass cowl hood and Contemplating on wether or not I should Tub it.
