The exhaust page.
This is where you will find the SS turbo headers as I build them, down pipe flange, regular down pipe and an eletricly operated cut out mounded all most on the flange some day.
This is the stock down pipe flange that I cut with the plasma cutter, the black line is where I will recut to make a 3inch down pipe. The dial caliper is opened up to 2.5''.
I also added a TD05 coolant line to the K03, because it fit and I needed one.

More custom by me only work.
I made a header to turbo gasket out of .5mm copper it's the small 3 hole one. I think the stock VW one might blow out on my appication, 2 reasons it's stock and I don't know what its made of.
Plus I can't even get header or down pipe bolts over here, so no chance of finding the gaskets.
I used the same materal to make the down pipe gasket. It's over kill there.

My working theory "if I make it is a lot harder for me to break it".
Full drag pipes...

This is one of my wild just for $hits and giggles things, I'll have the hood off and I'll put the full drag pipes on before I hook up the regular exhaust, just to see how it sounds.
I have lots of these and they will be the foundation of the turbo headers.

Its been a while since you've had a comment! Hows the progress coming? I did a very similar PP job on my V6 heads. I have some intake questions if you dont mind.
