These are from the fall 2003 Chevy Vettefest at McCormick Place in Chicago. My car took home a gold receiving 982 points out of 1000!! I am so proud of my baby! A few exterior shots. This is the trunk. and it is in the front. Has a lot of room. Even has cubby holes on the sides for storing extra parts!
She is equipt with the optional 140 HP engine. The base engine is 95HP then there was the 110. Both had two one barrel carbs. One for each bank of three cylinders. All Corvairs were 6 cyl air cooled engines. The 140 hp engine has two carbs per bank! There ar four carbs on my engine. The displacement is 164 cid. Power is transmitted to the wheels via a two speed powerglide transaxle with posi. The final drive ratio is 3:55. The car has independent rear suspension.
