*UPDATE 6/16/04*
Car now has the engine in it and bolted up! The axels still need to be connected, and final modification to the intake manifold need to be performed. Also, we are still trying to fit the battery in the engine bay, but the intake manifold and new intake pipe seem to push over too far. We dont know what we are going to do yet. Car should be running by this WED!!!!

Still waiting on ACT to send the right clutch disk. I purchased a new cd player for the car. Check the audio page for details!

Check page 6 for engine photos and a small update (copy/paste from dsmtuners.com)

*UPDATE 6/10/04*
The engine has been completly assembled. They were going to drop the engine yesterday, and then they realized that ACT sent me a Mazda Protege Clutch Plate. So they are sending another one tommorow. Once the plate gets here we can get it in. I am going over to Transonic tommorow to install a turbo fuel pump so I will get pics of the engine then. Oh yea, it looks so friggin sexy I allmost shit myself. The Injen Bling Bling adds a lot and well... you just have to wait for pics. You will see what I mean.

*UPDATE 6/4/04*
The engine has been removed from the car, and the new engine is still waiting on parts from mitsubishi before it can be dropped in! Page 6 & 8 has been updated!

*UPDATE 5/19/04*
My engine developed crankwalk and threw a crankcase bearing, thus deystroying my engine. I have ordered a JDM 4G63 N/T engine from http://www.mistuparts.net and it will be getting here within the week. This unfortunate event has allowed me to modify my cars engine in ways previously impossible. CHECK PAGE 6 FOR COMPLETE DETAILS AND LIST OF MODIFICATIONS!!!

This is my car last year after its initial "clean up". While I admitadly cant beat much on the streets, I have focused on making my car handle well and improving my driving abilities by competing in local auto x races and at our local race track, Mid-America Speedway.

My favorite thing to do is to detail cars. The chassis has currently 78,000 original miles on it. It is in great shape for a 13 year old car.
