Even more Pictures on Page #2 and a Cost breakdown of most everything I've done to my car on Page #3

This is probably one of the cleanest looking, best handling and quickest naturally aspirated 3.0 liter SHO's on the planet. It's had over $10,000 worth of performance upgrades installed on it in the last 2 years. Read on to find out more

thirdcoastsho's 1992 Ford TaurusMarch 17th 2004: My car should be done today !!!! By days end, my car should have it's new Quaife Torque Biasing Differential, Fidanza Ultra Light Weight flywheel, Fibertough 9 Puck performance clutch, Heavy duty pressure plate, Ceramic Throw out bearing and Aluminum subframe bushings installed. March 18th, 2004 AHHHHH, finally my car is finished and suffice it to say, the results are awesome!!!! It feels like my car lost a thousand pounds of weight. Everything happens faster. Turn in response is immediate thanks to the addition of the aluminum subframe bushings!! It sounds a more like a performance car now. Thanks to the Fidanza light weight flywheel, the engine revs up into its power band much more quickly. There is also a huge reduction in the amount of inner tire spin when cruising through the twisties thanks to the Quaife Torque biasing Differential. You just keep giving it gas as you make it around the corner and your front outer wheel just pulls you through. Also..with that new ceramic throw out bearing, my clutch peddle requires much less force to engage. I'll write up another update as the season progresses and I also will upload some photos of the installation. As of right now though, I am very impressed with my Taurus SHO. March 21, 2004 Just installed the Crystal Clear corner lights. The install is real easy (you do have to remove the battery to install the right front corner light) and the results look pretty cool. May 1st, 2004 The mechanic just finished doing a complete 60K service on my car. It took him 12 hours. He replaced all the gaskets, cleaned the intake plenum and throttle body, reshimmed the valves, installed a new water pump, crank shaft position sensor, spark plugs and wires. Pics of that coming soon. I'm having a slight problem with what I believe is my Ceramic Throw out bearing. It makes a chattering noise most of the time unless I have my clutch pedal depressed (fixed by replacing clutch in October 05 with clutchmaster stage 1 clutch from Midwest SHO. .............................................................................................................................................................................. Here is some info 92 Taurus SHO MTX which I've spent over $10,000 dollars on so far (Not including the price I paid for the car). TOOO much, I KNOW!! You can see the individual cost breakdown on page 3.
