I bought it on Nov 5/04 and drove it 1600 miles (2600km) from Simi Valley, California to my home, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The car was bought on May 21st 1974, at Majestic Pontiac in Los Angeles
Sadly it closed down a few years ago.

Yes it had whitewall tires on it--but no more.
I had to export the car from the US to Canada. If a car is at least 15 years old, it is very easy to do. Just some paper work for the US customs. Canada makes you pay 7% (GST) on the purchase price :(
