WASSUPPI!!!
Car people from all over I welcome you to my car website. My name is Ryan and this is my 79 Lincoln Continental Mark V. I bought it on March 5th of 03' and Ive enjoyed every moment. Have you ever noticed when you look in the LOWRIDER magazine and the cars in the magazine are always perfect. Notice as you read that most of them have the money to pay for shops to do everything themselves or they buy the already custom cars from custom car builders. I have always thought that building or customizing your car is the only way to go. Thats why I decided to take an autobody class last year. I learned to pull dents, bondo, paint, weld, and remove and install parts. I just recently learned about rebuilding an engine from my dad. We spent a good month pulling out my engine, cleaning it up, building it back to factory specs, and gettin that baby back on the road. It was one of the funnest times of my life. I would love to know how to do custom apholstry so I can get that just off the car lot look. I encourage everyone to learn things and do them yourselves. I do know there are some things you just cant do yourself but try to do it all. Any classic car owner knows the feeling when your driving down the street and everyone is watching. They may look at you because of your sound system, or the noise coming from your exhaust, but they keep lookin for everything else. Makes you wanna get stupid right there in the middle of the street, but with my car being so heavy I dont really feel like sitting in the middle of the road with broked spokes. With my newly rebuilt engine, so' spoked out dubs, and flowmasters getting everyones attention I cant help but feel proud. Next on my list is a new paint job, a new vynal roof, a new carpet, and a new dash cover. Have fun and please leave a comment on what you think about my car.

ENJOY MY CAR SITE AND ALL COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED

This is a picture of my freshly bought exhaust. Notice the dual flowmasters. Just a little over $300 but I get like 5 mpg more. You should have seen the stock ones: )

This is an unfinished picture I drew. After I fixed the front ends proportions I moved and cant find the completed picture. Its still nice though.

Everything I get for my car is always "off the streets". I had 3, 800 watt RFosgates and an 1100watt Soundstorm, which worked pretty good for a amp i've never heard of before. I was in search of another amp to push my 3rd RFosgate but before I could my existing amp blew a channel. So instead of pushin 2 x 550 its pushin 1100 straight. Sux huh. Now im looking for another pair of woofers and another 1100watt amp. There is a store around the corner that somtimes offers "BUY ONE WOOFER, GET ONE FREE". Im gonna wait for another one of those, pay a couple hundred on a pair and hopefully find a new amp to push em. N E Ways, heres some of my a/v pics i've taken so far in no particular order.

It was kinda funny too. When the police came into my house at 7 oclock in the morning and busted my brother for being a drug dealer they said my setup was the hardest thing they've ever seen. Sure the Way I had it was nicer looking but my brothers shit slapped way harder. Anyways I kinda had to sell some of my shit to pay bills and all so for right now my a/v section is kinda dull.

The original door are supports were very fragile. They were both broken. The new ones I got were more sturdy but its hard to find one for the driverside that someone will sell. I couldnt find the light blue paint so they are both dark blue. For now.

The backseat is in such good condition you'd swear no one has ever riden back there.

The trunk dosnt look this nice anymore. When the cops raided my house they tore up our cars pretty bad. Seriously they came into our house thinking that we were drug lords. its all so funny, now, not then.

Oh and if anyone knows where to buy steering wheel covers like this one please tell me. The one that came with the car was scratching my hand with every turn.

After driving my car for three and a half years i've had some close fenderbenders. My overall exterior is very important to me and if you saw how I drive youd know I love my car way too much. I have been hit a few times (while my car was parked) and I do have some dents.

This was the first picture I took of my entire car. The paint used to look so nice. Damn sun damage.

I went to an autobody school last year and learned how to do bondo work and still need a little practice. I eventually can get it straight though. I'm sayin screw you to all the paint shops and im gonna learn how to do it myself. I have a few ideas of what i'm gonna paint on my BIG LINC and use it as an advertisement and try to get a buisness going. If im really good then I know I can get everything going.

Im a broke motherfucker if you ask anyone, but last year my brother helped me out by paying my way while I saved up for some dubs. I was finally able to afford a set of 20' spokes.

For a set that is only supposed to hold 1400lbs a rim a 6128lb. car can be hazardous. I get very paranoid sometimes about putting too much weight on just one that it can be tiring.

They just look so nice.
I would never buy anything but spokes, Blades are cool but to me nothing brings the light to a ride like 600 pieces of wire holding up a 3+ ton vehicle.

I would love if I had hydraulics and my car would sit that high. Actually, one of my favorite loves about my car is the smooth, boat on the water ride. I love hydraulics but for my ride if I were to go in that direction I would have to go with airdraulics. Sorry everyone. Hydros for life. :)

I was looking in a recent LOWRIDER magazine where they have these whitewall tires that go from the 15 inch rim all the way to the ground. A complete whitewall tire. Now I love nothing more than having spokes but I think my original rims chrome dipped with those white walls would be fuckin sweet.

Wow, what a subject for a big ass car. Well to tell you the truth i've never got good gas mileage at all. Maybe like 8 to 9 mpg. Last december when my car began making a horrible noise I soon found out that my engine was fucking up. After about $2,300 and 3 months my baby was reborn. Just abuot everything that needed it or not was replaced. Except the power steering pump. Which I regret cause now its fuckin up.

I went pretty stock with the performance but made sure that this car is gonna last me forever and should it ever need it again I will rebuild it. I just bought some flowmasters and with a few brand new cats my car is runnin pretty smooth. The one thing I have yet to do is hook up my vacuum lines. Oops.

Heres some performance style pics ive took
I love it all - 2.5 inch baby

The crank was reusable so we had it machined and put it back in the ford 400.

I dont know why but as soon as I took off the manifold I could smell "BURNT CHEETOS"

I guess my next dream for the car "engine wise" would be to get a 460 pulled from a 77' or 78' lincoln, rebuild it up unlike what I did with my engine. Just completely spoil the engine with a competition cam, stroker kit, turbocharger, bore it out .60 over, as much aluminum as I could get at. I would never get rid of the engine it has now but it would be nice just to be able to switch out the engine and the rearend and get me a good 2 gallons per mile while tearin up the street in my land yacht.

This is a work in progress....

Im gonna have to redo my top. The vinyl has cracked so bad its kinda embarassing. This website may help me get it all figured out.

Im gonna need to get new carpet. The old carpet has a huge missing piece on the passenger side. Plus its old and makes the interior look bad. Im gonna get the neon pile blue. If anyone knows where to get this cheaper tell me.
http://www.stockinteriors.com/autocarpet.asp?Itemid=2813&MakeId=16&ModelId=260

Im also gonna need a new dashboard. Living in the heat with all your windows up is not good. The dash cracked while I was in school one day. 2 Huge cracks. Now I leave my little windows slightly rolled down. If anyone knows where to get this cheaper tell me.

The behemoth Lincoln Continental Mark V was sold for only three model years: 1977 to 1979. The last of the true highway cruisers, it replaced the Mark IV's more rounded styling with a more sharp-edged look that was then fashionable. Once again, its size increased both in length and width. It no longer shared its platform with the Ford Thunderbird (which was downsized by shifting its nameplate to the smaller Mercury Cougar/Ford LTD II platform.)

The the 460 in³ of the Mark IV remained the standard engine of the Mark V for the 1977 model year. In 1978, the Ford 400 in³ (6.6 L) small-block engine replaced the 460 in³ as standard equipment, the latter available as an option everywhere but in California. The 460 made the cars performance aggressive while the 400 gave the car lackluster acceleration, although allowing Ford to meet CAFE requirements for the year. The 460 in³ option was deleted entirely for 1979.

Lincoln, with the Mark V and Continental, held out for the giant American car longer than anyone else, but after 1979 it would not be possible. Ford came dangerously close to violating the Corporate Average Fuel Economy laws that year, and subsequent models would be substantially smaller.

This Mark, which was an updated version of the '72–'76 model, was completely restyled; and to some degree re-engineered. The soft, rounded look of the '72 car was replaced with razor sharp lines. The vinyl top, the opera windows, the spring-loaded hood ornament, the horizontal radiator grille, and large whitewall tires were all part of the package. Interior design remained similar to the Mark IV, with variants in the seat patterns and dashboard trim (while retaining the general dashboard layout of the IV) being the primary differences.

The Mark V was larger and more complex than its predecessor, coming just ten inches short of being 20 feet long, yet, surprisingly nimble for a car of such gargantuan proportions. The electrical system and mechanical componentry shared less in common with other Ford products, and was harder to service than the corresponding equipment on the Mark IV.

The Mark V design proved to be a hit with customers, setting the highest sales record for any Mark edition automobile at the time, a record never ultimately surpassed by any subsequent Mark edition.

Below are a bunch of random cars or pictures that I love. More to come.
