The Bad spots

I have this car up for sale locally, so I am posting this page for anyone who is interested in knowing or seeing the bad parts.

If interested email me, benoit454@yahoo.com

First off I canot deliver or meet you with this vehicle you must come pick it up. However, the car does run and drive, just isn't legal. The tags and insurance have been switched to my monte carlo.

I am asking $1,800 for it, but price is flexible.

If you can't do $1,800 then tell me what you can, and I'll let you know if I can do it or not. I would also
trade or partial trade
on a good running/driving four wheeler/atv for my dad. That's the ONLY thing I'd trade on.

The bad things I can't picture are as follows:

Alternator is showing weak on a tester, but car does run and drive.

Selling because I need the room.

Ok now the heater isn't working either, it was last winter, but we never drive it during winter, never seen snow or rain driving, it has set outside in them. Might be a fuse, a connection, the switch on the controls, or the blower fan itself went out. All cheap and easy fixes.

Wipers only work when the squirt thing is pushed, no squirt but wipers work, you can then switch between high and low and they work fine, soon as you let off the squirter button they stop. Brand new wiper motor, the switch is what's wrong. So it does need the wiper switch.

OK now picture time, paint is flaking off front and rear bumpers in small areas, front around the hood and headlights where I had covers before. Rear from bumping or getting bumped by something. Also around the driver's door lock.

Hood scoop has 4 small cracks around it, on both sides up top near the back end of the hood, about 3 inches long on both sides, smaller crack on both sides up front near end of scoop. The primer seems to be shwoing thru in front of the scoop as well. See pictures below for all of the paint issues listed.

Also see under pics for the GOOD/NEW parts.

Now for the good/new parts I have in it.

Most everything is 2 years old or less.

New exhuast system, from y-pipe back including muffler and catalitic convertor.

New tires maybe 500 miles on them, kelly chargers.

Rims are old, not made anymore, but perfect shape, no rust or blemishes, not bent or warped.

New brakes and shocks put on in August 2005.

New power steering pump, wiper motor, belts, transmission mount, plug wires and plugs, 2 years old. Done around may 2 years ago.

Interior has all been redone. Paint done and scoop molded in 2 years ago around march or april.

Car has dark tinted windows, and has passed inspection everytime.

I know there's probably more I have forgotten.

Man when the time comes I should get you and your dad to help me with my Monte:). Man that Camaro is off the charts! You did a bang up job. If your Monte comes out half as good as this car it will be a street stunner!

Sweet ride man I love what you did with the hood scoop. I found your post on a forum and was wondering if you ever had problems with the area around the scoop cracking? I've seen many ppl try to put their own hood scoops on and it cracks within a few months or after the winter. Does the Bondo-Glass filler do a good job of holding the edges down so they don't crack? How is your hood holding up through the winter? Thanks man, Kyle.
