UPDATE: FOR SALE

It's been a long time since I logged on here! In fact, so long that my car is now on its way to Sweden to be sold for twice the amount I could get in California. I live in Sweden part of every year so I decided this was best. I couldn't bear to let my car go for $4k!!!

Although my '96 will be gone, it will certainly not be forgotten. In his place will be either a 1) 2004 Cobra 2) 2005 or 2006 Saleen (SC or not) or 3) 2004 Saleen SC. I'm leaning towards an '04 Cobra, only 'cause I can buy it outright and its virtually bulletproof engine will last an eternity.

I will post pics of my new beast as soon as I make my decision!

This is my 1996 Ford Mustang GT Option 248A, in other words it is a GTS. Ford did away with the GTS designation after 1995. GTS means GT Stripped. There are no power windows, locks, seat or fog lights.

My car did come with a spoiler, though it doesn't appear to be factory because there is a brake light in it. Cobra spoilers did have a brake light, but my spoiler is NOT a Cobra spoiler. Cobra spoilers are shaped differently.

This is my third car. My previous car was a 1997 Ford Taurus. I bought it new and loved it. But when my boyfriend and I drove by a car lot, I saw a red beauty sitting there, beckoning me to take her for a test drive! So we did. We made nice black circles in an empty parking lot. ;-p

You must understand how cool this was, after driving around in FWD family car for two years! My first car was a '79 Olds Cutlass. It was RWD, but no way could I have made thick black donuts all over the asphalt in that boat! LOL!

After four years owning a Mustang, I will never drive anything else. Though it is gutless if compared to the current power of today's Mustang, my '96 still puts a smile on my face when I'm cruising down the main street. :-D She sounds awesome with offroad exhaust and Flows! And the stance with 18x10 rims in the rear...lowered...at an angle...mmmm MMMM! Gotta love it!

Some shots of my 1996 Mustang GT. The wheels are BBS RK, sized 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.
